Health first. Evidence led. Community rooted.

One Voice Initiative

About OVIWCE

Community knowledge. Collective action. A voice that travels.

OVIWCE is a Nigerian youth-led, volunteer-driven non-governmental organization advancing the rights, health, education and well-being of women, children and young people.

Our story

Built to move from concern to coordinated action

Established in Nigeria in 2016, OVIWCE brings together volunteers and partners who believe that progress for women and children must be practical, inclusive and rooted in evidence.

Our work combines research, advocacy, policy engagement, public education, partnerships and community interventions. Direct activities are concentrated in Nigeria—particularly Oyo State—while conferences, social platforms and civil-society networks extend the organization’s voice.

OVIWCE holds consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Our purpose

Advance well-being, rights and opportunity

We identify barriers affecting women and children, build sustainable responses with communities and partners, and advocate for the conditions people need to thrive.

A future where women, children and young people can access health, education, protection and meaningful participation without preventable barriers.
